If you haven’t checked out Masterclass yet, you probably should. It’s a subscription streaming service that costs me slightly less than my Netflix subscription, but provides me with so much more.
There are a few different pricing plans, including one for the whole family (up to 6 devices) that costs less than twice the price of an individual sub.
Once you’re signed up to Masterclass, you can learn from the best. You can learn to sing with Christina Aguilera or cook with Gordon Ramsay.
You can also learn about writing, with the type of writers you’d be honoured to get a single guest lecture with, if you were actually studying for a creative writing degree. Here are a few of the classes I’ve taken so far.
Creative Writing with Margaret Atwood
Fiction, Memory and Imagination with Amy Tan
Writing with Malcolm Gladwell
The Art of Storytelling with Neil Gaiman
Writing for Social Change with Roxanne Gay
No affiliate links here, by the way. As far as I’m aware, Masterclass doesn’t have an affiliate program. Just awesome lessons from dedicated, talented, professional writers with a ton of valuable advice.

Enjoying: A particularly prolific writing week (here’s how I write over half a million words a year)
Not enjoying: How much admin I have to catch up on because I’ve been doing nothing but writing this week
