Five steps to polishing them up
Someone said: from everything that I write 90% is waste, 8% can be used, 2% is gold.
I try to live by this rule.
Sometimes the gold might be hidden in waste.
Love that. I'm pretty sure there's the odd nugget of gold (or at least usable writing) hidden in some of my early, mostly-waste manuscripts.

Sometimes all it takes is a couple of months to pass by. People evolve, thoughts grow into concepts and the thing you wrote in your old days may get a second, new meaning.
